French GCE A-level

Our course is designed for students who wish to succeed in the GCE A-level French; a qualification suitable for students who wish to enter UK universities. The preparation for the GCE A-level offers students who have already a good understanding of French, the opportunity to develop their language skills. Moreover an intensive course can be tailor made to the student’s needs.

Academic Writing

The main purpose of this course is to prepare students for university level writing assignments by reviewing their English grammar and strengthening their writing skills. It also provides a working space whereby students work together, share their writing experiences and give and receive feedback. Overall the students are engaged in a constructive process which eventually will allow them to perceive themselves as writers. By the end of this course, students will be able to obtain proficiency in the use of English grammar, master writing mechanics, utilize writing techniques, use lexical and orthographic elements, explore the full spectrum of the writing process, and master proper diction and language use appropriate for an academic setting. Some examples of what the curriculum includes are: Constructing complex sentences, writing topic sentences, writing supporting sentences, concluding sentences, using transition words, learning the comma rules, avoiding sentence fragments or run on sentences.

Economics iGCSE O Level

iGCSE (International GCSE) in Economics is the foundation course of A levels and is designed to give students a sound understanding of economics, and the ability to use knowledge, skills and understanding appropriately in the context of individual countries and the global economy. This qualification supports progression to:

  • AS/Advanced GCE in Economics, and
  • AS/Advanced GCE in Economics and Business Studies

It is suitable for students in private and public schools who wish to improve their performance throughout the year and for the examinations. Students in public schools who wish to enter universities in the UK are not required to take the iGCSE O-level examination. It is recommended, however, to take the GCE A-level examination.

We offer support for iGCSE O Level Economics to improve students’ performance throughout the year and also intensive revision for the examinations.

Economics GCE A Level

GCE A-level Economics offers students with a good understanding of Economics the chance to study it at a higher level. It provides a thorough grounding, addresses up-to-date economic theory and offers rigorous, yet engaging content. It is suitable for students who wish to enter universities in the UK.

The emphasis will be on the students’ ability to think as economists and to use the economist’s toolkit of concepts, theories and techniques that they have built up during their course of study.

We offer teaching for the following units: 

Theme 1: Introduction to markets and market failure

Theme 2: The UK economy – performance and policies

Theme 3: Business behavior and the labour market

Theme 4: A global perspective

Students are required to apply their knowledge and understanding, make connections and transfer higher-order skills across all four themes to get A-level award. We offer support to improve students’ performance throughout the year and also intensive revision for the examinations.

Advanced Subsidiary (AS) GCE in Economics:

Theme 1 and Theme 2 are necessary for an AS award. There are no prior learning or other requirements for this qualification. Students can progress from this qualification to Advanced GCE in Economics qualifications. We offer support for AS Level to improve students’ performance throughout the year and also intensive revision for the examinations.
